Headless WordPress means WordPress keeps the editing screen and the database, while a separate front end, often built in React or a similar framework, fetches content through an API and renders the pages. It is worth the added cost when one pool of content must feed several channels at once. For a typical service business website it usually is not.
Our own builds are all standard WordPress, and we look after the servers ourselves, so read the verdict below with that bias in mind.
