He works alongside Steven McVicker, a very close friend and the most talented developer and problem-solver he has ever worked with. Together they operate as an equal core team — and they’re the two people you’ll actually talk to. It is a fair question to ask any two-person team, and the answer is deliberate rather than improvised. Every account is documented in shared playbooks instead of living in one person’s head, both of us hold full access to every client property, and the client portal keeps the work log, reporting history, and page status independent of whoever wrote it. Recurring work runs on an internal automation platform rather than on memory, and paid search — for the clients who need it — is handled by a vetted partner agency coordinated against the same plan.
Not principles — the mechanics. This is the same sequence every account follows, whether it is a two-van trade business or a multi-location practice.
Month one is baseline and repair, not publishing. We record where you rank and what the site currently earns, fix the technical faults that would undermine anything built on top, and complete the Google Business Profile. Publishing starts once that is done, so later movement can be attributed to something.
Paul owns search strategy, content and the local work. Steven owns development, custom software and the reporting portal. Nothing is handed to a junior after the sales call, because there is no junior and there was no sales call — you spoke to both of us.
Leads, calls, texts and form fills are counted separately and shown against the page and the month that produced them. It is the same view we work from rather than a monthly PDF assembled after the fact, and you can open it at two in the morning without asking us for it.
Results get checked on dates set in advance rather than whenever the numbers happen to look good. When a month goes backwards you hear why it went backwards, which is the part that tells you whether the person reporting is reading the data or decorating it.
A young company invites a fair question, so here is the straight answer: the firm is newer than the people running it. The combined search and build experience behind the work predates the business by years — what changed in 2023 is that it stopped being done inside someone else’s agency.
The upside is one most established shops cannot claim. Every method we run was built for search as it works now — map pack, review velocity, and answer engines quoting pages back at people who never click through — rather than adapted from a playbook written for 2018 and patched ever since. There is nothing here we are protecting because it used to work.
That also means we say no to things that used to be standard. We do not buy links, we do not run private blog networks, and we do not chase a vendor authority score, because the 2026 spam updates went back and devalued exactly those profiles. What we build instead is slower and it keeps working.
Worth reading before you call. Any of these being a dealbreaker is better discovered now than in month three.
Nobody outside Google controls the results. A guaranteed ranking is either luck or a phrase so obscure that owning it changes nothing about your week. We commit to the work, the baseline and honest reporting against it.
We are organic-first by design. When paid genuinely fits — a new location, a seasonal push, cover while search builds — a vetted partner agency runs it against the same plan. You will not be quietly sold a channel you did not ask about.
We offer both flexible terms and longer-term contract options. A longer-term agreement is the shape most of our work takes, because it lets us plan a full sequence rather than a month at a time, and we will tell you plainly which one fits what you are trying to do.
The site, the domain, the Google profile and the analytics history stay in accounts you own. We ask for access rather than creating things under our name, which is what makes leaving straightforward if you ever want to.
